Pada agenda kali ini membahas Review Draft Permenristek-BRIN tentang Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik (SPBE) internal Pusdatin Kemeristek/BRIN. Paparan yang disampaikan meliputi:

1. Latar Belakang dirumuskannya Permenristek-BRIN tentang SPBE yaitu perubahan nomenklatur Kementerian, implementasi SPBE sesuai dengan amanah Perpres 95 tahun 2018 tentang SPBE, serta kepatuhan evaluasi SPBE dimana indikator terkait kebijakan, tata kelola, dan manajemen harus tertuang dalam Peraturan Menteri ini.
2. Landasan Hukum
3. Landasan Pelaksanaan Evaluasi SPBE berdasarkan Perpres nomor 95 tahun 2018 tentang SPBE, PermenpanRB nomor 5 tahun 2018 tentang Pedoman Evaluasi SPBE, dan pedoman evaluasi SPBE yang diperbahurui yaitu PermenpanRB nomor 59 tahun 2020.
4. Struktur penilaian dalam evaluasi SPBE berdasarkan perubahan dari PermenpanRB nomor 5 tahun 2018 menjadi PermenpanRB nomor 59 tahun 2020.
5. Perbandingan perubahan Permenristekdikti nomor 62 tahun 2017 tentang Tata Kelola Teknologi Informasi dan Rancangan Permenristek-BRIN tentang SPBE.
6. Sistematika  Rancangan Permenristek-BRIN tentang SPBE yang mencakup Ketentuan Umum, Tata Kelola SPBE, Manajemen SPBE, Penyelenggara SPBE, Percepatan SPBE, Audit TIK, Pamantauan dan Evaluasi SPBE, dan Ketentuan Penutup.

Marine Corps Shelves Futuristic Robo-Mule Due to Noise Concerns

After years of being featured at trade shows and trotted out for high-ranking Marine Corps officials, the Marines' barrel-chested Legged Squad Support System -- known affectionately as the robotic mule -- has been put out to pasture.

The machine, which resembles a headless pack mule made of metal, came about through a $32 million, two-and-a-half year contract between the Pentagon's research arm, known as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, and Google Inc.'s Boston Dynamics, of Waltham, Massachusetts.

Marine Corps Commandant Gen. Robert Neller said Friday that 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, out of Camp Pendleton, Calif., would spend the next year acting as the Corps' experimental unit, working with the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab to field-test new ideas and equipment over the course of ordinary training and operations.

The list of those caught up in the global surveillance net cast by the National Security Agency and its overseas partners, from social media users to foreign heads of state, now includes another entry: American lawyers.

A top-secret document, obtained by the former N.S.A. contractor Edward J. Snowden, shows that an American law firm was monitored while representing a foreign government in trade disputes with the United States. The disclosure offers a rare glimpse of a specific instance in which Americans were ensnared by the eavesdroppers, and is of particular interest because lawyers in the United States with clients overseas have expressed growing concern that their confidential communications could be compromised by such surveillance.

National crisis as Indonesia cuts ties with Australia over spying scandal

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's rage over the targeting of his phone and those of his wife and senior officials exploded last night as he called the spying illegal and added: "now is not the era of the Cold War."

The phones were targeted by the Defence Signals Directorate weeks after three Australians were killed in terrorist bombings in Jakarta in 2009.

Good afternoon. Today, we are announcing the results of the Department of the Army force structure decisions. Our Army is in the process of undergoing one of the largest organizational changes since World War II as we transition from a force at war. Our decisions are in line with the Fiscal Year 13 budget submission which implements a $487 billion dollar reduction in DOD funding based on the Budget Control Act of 2011. It began in fiscal year 2013 and extends over ten years. The Army's share of this reduction is approximately $170 billion dollars.

Brigade combat teams cut at 10 posts will help other BCTs grow

WASHINGTON (Army News Service, June 25, 2013) -- The Army announced June 25 that 10 brigade combat teams based in the United States are slated to be reorganized by the end of fiscal year 2017.

In addition to the 10 brigade combat teams, known as BCTs, announced today, the Army also announced last year it would cut two brigades in Germany that complete inactivation this fiscal year. These changes will reduce the number of BCTs in the Army from 45 to 33.

Remove Red Eye with GIMP

If I take a picture with blitz, the problem is red eye. To remove this effect, I try to use GIMP. After I open the image file, I click "Dodge/Burn Tool" on Toolbox. Then I choose Type "Burn" than "Dodge" and Range "Highlights" than "Midstones" or "Shadows". To play this tool, try to zoom the image and than click the red colour on every eyes. You can choose the size of the Brush.
